Chief's Message

On behalf of the men and women of the South Milwaukee Police Department I would like to welcome you to the South Milwaukee Police Department’s web site.  I hope that you will take the time to learn about our Department and all that we have to offer the community we serve.

Our Department’s mission is to provide a modern, flexible, full service department which is responsive to the community and its needs.  Central to this mission is a set of values that will guide our work and decisions and allow us to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life in South Milwaukee.

The South Milwaukee Police Department is made up of 42 men and women dedicated to providing the City of South Milwaukee with the highest quality of service possible.  The South Milwaukee Police Department is a problem solving agency.  We seek to improve our environment by reducing and/or eliminating opportunities for crime.  We have a talented and dedicated workforce of men and women that pride themselves in customer service.  We value the numerous partnerships we have established within our community as a method of sharing responsibility in preventing crime and disorder.  We intend to use this website to continue to foster that partnership.  

We are cognizant of the fact that a strong police-community interaction is vital to the City of South Milwaukee.  To all citizens of the City of South Milwaukee we request your continued support and understanding as we look to the future.
